At a glance
Lifting has been hindered for some regions, due to the wet weather. The North West has been the worst hit with some fields now lying in water.
Quality is reported as good this week, but the wet weather has raised some concerns. There are crop losses in the North West through both lifting hindrance and potatoes lying in waterlogged ground.
Trade has not reacted to the bad weather and has remained very quiet. Many packhouses and processors are still covered by contracts.
