Would you like to be at the cutting edge of independent crop trials and part of a team recommending cereal and oilseed varieties for the UK? If the answer is 'yes', then you may be interested to learn that AHDB has three Recommended Lists (RL) crop committee vacancies.

Current vacancies

Oilseed Crop Committee (two vacancies)

  • One grower vacancy
  • One trader vacancy

Wheat Crop Committee (one vacancy)

  • One trader vacancy

What does it involve?

Committee members meet three times a year – generally, in May/June, August/September and November – to agree agronomic and quality definitions for varietal recommendation, select candidate varieties for trial and propose new varieties to add to the RL.

Candidates should be enthusiastic and committed. Successful candidates will receive support and reasonable allowances (i.e. travel and subsistence) during their three-year term.
