During December 2016 and January 2017 we consulted on our new corporate strategy and sector strategies that set out where AHDB believes it can make the biggest difference in improving the competitiveness and productivity of our industry.

2. The eGrain Passport scheme
This was a consultation on moving the current paper grain passport system online. It closed on 16 September 2016

3. The Consultation for Trailblazer Apprenticeship: Stockperson closed on 15 January 2016
This was a consultation on the standards for the new Stockperson Trailblazer Apprenticeship to combat skills shortages within certain areas of agriculture and horticulture.
It was aimed at farmers and other livestock industry employers to help ensure the proposed apprenticeship scheme stays on track to meet industry needs.

Click the link above to read our report on the 'Activity Review' we undertook in Autumn/Winter 2016 to listen to levy payers' views.
We undertook the review of activities to gauge levy payer views on the main challenges and opportunities they perceive and where they feel AHDB can have the biggest impact on their business.
The Activity Review ran at the same time as a public consultation on AHDB's Corporate Plan but sought a much broader 'root and branch' perspective from the levy payer on AHDB's role and impact. Feedback from both activities is being used to inform our priorities for our strategy development.
