Monitor Farm Meeting: Hereford - Managing Stress

Past Event - booking closed

Thu, 21 November 2019

1:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Bishops Frome Village Hall, Bishop's Frome, Worcester, Herefordshire

The pressures, pace and problems associated with juggling the demands of a farm business are ever growing. As farmers, you know how to take care of your crops and livestock, and take careful steps to ensure they are healthy and safe, yet do you take the same care in maintaining your own mental and physical stress and fatigue?

While difficult circumstances such as weather, market volatility, peer pressure and parental expectations are often beyond our influence, much of our stress is actually within our own control. On 21 November Martin Williams and Russell Price will be joined by Professor Alan White from The Centre for Men’s Health, to help understand how you can take control of your stress and ensure that you are not adding to it unwittingly.
