Hale Village Monitor Farm Summer Farm Walk

You are invited to join us on a farm walk at the Hale Village Monitor Farm summer meeting hosted by Bill Webb.

We look forward to welcoming you to catch up on what has been happening at the monitor farm since we last met, and this season so far, as well as to have a look at the cropping for harvest 2022. 

What will this meeting cover? 

• Compost Try Out – we will catch up on the compost try out and see if there are differences in the field
• Fertiliser Use – with fertiliser prices still being high, we will discuss the impact of high prices on budgets
• Soil Health – we will discuss why soil health is important, and what the monitor farm are doing to improve it
• Costs – we will discuss the impact of rising costs on net margin and the impact that has

This event will start at 10:30am and it will finish with a light lunch.

Please bring suitable footwear & clothing for a field walk.

BASIS and NRoSO points will be available for attending this event.
