Beef & Lamb Sector Strategy Director
Rebecca has a background in brand and strategic marketing, both for full service marketing agencies and commercial companies. With previous experience for Britvic, Pepsi, Bottle Green Wines and developing the Tickler, Taw Valley and Lockerbie brands for MilkLink, her focus has always been on the food and drink sector.
Rebecca moved to AHDB in 2012, originally working in beef and lamb before moving to the role of Head of Marketing for Crops and Dairy, developing the domestic strategy of those sectors into owning their reputation and changing consumer attitudes and behaviours. In September 2020 Rebecca took over the role of Interim Beef and Lamb Strategy Director, with previous experience in the area, her work is focused on drawing together all elements of AHDB delivery from Farm Gate knowledge to market development both at home and abroad into a reputational focus. Ensuring partnership working and stakeholder engagement. Delivering return on levy invested and ensuring the functions of AHDB work towards board set strategy over the coming 5 years.
Rebecca lives in a small dairy, arable and sheep farming village in South Yorkshire with 3 small children, 3 horses and 2 irritable cats.
